Since i have recently found and love this site, i figure it's about time i upload something. I have been making some meditation and relaxing music and made this thing! this was made on ableton with an instrument rack. It's a basic chord progression with a drone note. A 1906 recording of American composer Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag (1899) played by the United States Marine Band. This is one of the earliest known recordings of this work by Joplin (according to a discography of 78rpm recordings of Joplin works compiled by David A Jasen in "Scott Joplin - Collected Piano Works" 1981). Converted from MP3 to Ogg Vorbis with a slight trim of the beginning and end by Major Bloodnok. The discography of Joplin's work on 78 rpm records compiled by David A Jasen in "Complete works of Scott Joplin" indicates this is the third known recording of the Maple Leaf Rag. Edward A Berlin's book "King of Ragtime" in a note on p310 indicates that the recording of 1902 listed by Jasen is not infact the work by Joplin, making the 1906 recording the second existing record. Edwards's web-page and this page demonstrate that there are no known existing copies of the 1903 cylinder recording by Wilbur Sweatman and His Band.

A nearby moo. Taken from a field recording (quite literally) i made of the cows mooing in the field next to our house in pembrokeshire, wales. Recorded tuesday 14 april 2020 (while in lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic) on a zoom q2n. Note, incidentally, that "zoom" spelt backwards is "mooz". Spooky, eh?. I hope that someone out there finds these moos to be just the thing they need. I recorded them for my own music project about ufos, but figured someone else might need a moo or two too! if you use these, please let us know in the comments. 9-note ending riff. 1 of 8 samples under 5 seconds from my acoustic guitar recording of a civil war fife and drum song named frog in the well, which i learned from an 1862 instructional manual. The instrument was a 1928 gibson l3. There are no effects. Key is (in order of best fit) d major, f# minor, e minor, g major, a blues. Time signature is 3/4, but these samples are mainly under a bar so can be used in a 4/4 song. You also use either of these licenses for your remix: creative commons attribution-sharealike, creative commons attribution-noncommercial. The home of this song on the web is soupgreens. This is not a complete composition. This is a loop i created for people who play d&d or any rpg or game thats similar. It will loop perfectly.
